Short version: we collect what we need to print and deliver your order, your chat with Papur is processed by an AI provider, and this site sets no cookies and runs no tracking of any kind.

Who is responsible

Leon Govier — trading as papur.shop, from Flat 1 Washington House, Stanwell Road, Penarth, CF64 2AE — is the controller for the personal data described here. Email support@papur.shop with any question or request about it.

What we collect

• What you type to Papur. The conversation, so it can work out what you want printed and price it.
• Your order. The spec, the quantity, the price and the quote reference.
• Delivery details. Name, address and a contact number or email for the courier.
• Your artwork. The files you upload for printing.
• Payment. Handled by our payment processor. Card numbers are never sent to us and we do not store them.

No cookies, no tracking

This site sets no cookies, uses no browser storage, and carries no analytics, advertising or social media trackers. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. Nothing you type is kept in your browser between visits — close the tab and the conversation is gone.

Who else sees your data

• Our AI provider. What you type in the chat is sent to Anthropic's API to produce a reply. Prices themselves are never generated by the model — they come from our own rate card — but the words you write do leave our servers to be processed.
• Our trade printer. Receives your artwork, your order spec and your delivery address, because they print and dispatch the job.
• DPD. Receives the name, address and contact details needed to deliver and to text you a slot.
• Our payment processor. Takes the payment and holds the card details.
• Our hosting provider. Runs the site and keeps ordinary server logs.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounts and tax — six years is the normal UK requirement. Artwork is kept for 90 days after your order is delivered, so a repeat order does not need the files again, and is then deleted.

Why we are allowed to

We process your order details and artwork to perform the contract you entered into with us. We keep accounting records because the law requires it. Where we rely on a legitimate interest — keeping the service secure, for example — you can object.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email support@papur.shop and we will respond within a month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
